Mentoring

Everyone should have a mentor and everyone should be a mentor.

As an educator and mentor over the years, I have discovered the necessity to have someone Crome along side us and guide, advise, and coach us through big life decisions. Here is what I believe are the key qualities of a good mentor. First, they have to have life experience to call upon in order to have wisdom to share with others. Second, they must have a heart and skill for education to be able to take that wisdom and apply it to the life of the person they are mentoring. Finally, they must have communication skills that enable them to express their wisdom in a way that makes sense to others and inspire them to reach a little further than they would on their own.

There are a lot of people calling themselves life coaches who have little to no life experience. There are a lot of people with years of experience who do not possess the skills to educate and communicate to others. With a Masters Degree in education and over 20 years experience as a coach, a teacher, and a communicator, I am able to connect all three sides of the triangle.

Some of the events and circumstances I have been able to help others through in the past include career and education planning, spiritual guidance, marriage planning, relationship circumstances. Please note that I am not a licensed counselor or therapist and, should you require the services of one, I can refer to one of several I have relationships with in the area.

Since I have spent much of my career teaching teachers, I am equipped to help you become a mentor for others. Whether it is career or church centered (or both) I can help you become the mentor you need to be and Lead you, as you lead others.

Rates for my services are individually determined based on your needs and resources.
